(YCPD Press Release) – On May 10th, 2022, members of the Yuba Sutter Narcotic and Gang Enforcement Task Force (NET-5), with the assistance from the Yuba City Police, contacted and arrested Gerardo Garcia Garcia (25 years old of Yuba City) and Juan Castro Garcia (26 years old of Yuba City) in a parking lot of the 1200 block of Bridge Street in Yuba City. The two men were found to be in possession of approximately 3 pounds of methamphetamine during an apparent drug transaction occurring at that location.

Following the arrest, search warrants were served at two locations in Yuba City believed to be associated with the suspects. NET-5 Agents located an estimated 5 pounds of processed marijuana at one of the residences located in the 100 block of Toledo Street in Yuba City.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Sutter County Jail for charges of conspiracy to distribute narcotics and possession of narcotics for sale.
