(Santa Clara, CA) — Firefighters are continuing to battle multiple wildfires across the Bay Area. The Romero Fire which is a three-hundred-50-acre blaze in Merced County may affect travel today along Highway 152 between Santa Clara and Monterey Bay. Officials say only about ten percent of that fire is contained as it continues to burn near Santa Nella.
Meanwhile, a three-hundred-acre brushfire in Livermore near Tesla and Corral Hollow roads is also about ten percent contained. Evacuation orders were placed in Port Costa and Pleasanton earlier yesterday but those have been lifted.
