(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Department of Water Resources has increased releases out of Lake Oroville by 5,000 cubic feet per second, to 20,047 as of 2:00 this morning. That is around 10,000 cfs less than inflow at 36,174.

DWR said yesterday they plan to increase releases in stages another 10,000 cfs to 35,000 today. The lake level is reported at just over 860 feet, around 39 feet from the top, 83% of capacity.

The Feather River at Yuba City is forecast to rise 51.1 feet by noon today, 12.9 feet below monitor stage and 24.4 feet below flood stage.

The Yuba River at Marysville is forecast to fluctuate around 69 feet today. 4-1/2 feet below monitor stage and 17 feet below flood stage.

The Sacramento River at Colusa is forecast to fall below monitor stage of 63 feet late this morning, 7 feet below flood stage.
