Doctors at UC Davis are expressing their concern over a possible rise in coronavirus cases this winter. UC Davis Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Dr. Dean Blumberg says that the winter season could make the transmission of COVID-19 easier with more people staying indoors. Also, the temperature and the humidity favor survival of the virus which can also enhance transmission. Doctors expect cases to go up in October and even more in November. They continue to encourage people to wear masks, social distance and wash their hands.
