TWO ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH HOBLIT MOTORS BURGLARY

Colusa Police report the arrest of 2 suspects in connection with a burglary at Hoblit Motors. According to a statement from CPD, Yuba City Police had been involved in a stolen vehicle pursuit early Tuesday morning, but due to safety concerns, the chase was called off. However, the following day, the vehicle was spotted again on Wescott Road, at which time officers arrested Fernando Ramirez and Jasmin Paniagua.

Officers report the vehicle had been stolen from Hoblit Motors, and located other stolen items in the vehicle, including keys, tools and computers and drugs.

The investigation is ongoing.
