SUTTER COUNTY SUPERVISORS VOTE TO END LOCAL HEALTH EMERGENCY

The Sutter County Board of Supervisors has voted unanimously to end the health emergency proclamation declared March 10th of 20202 at the onset of the pandemic. That allowed the county to be eligible for state & federal financial assistance. County Counsel had recommended the board keep the proclamation in place.

The Appeal-Democrat reports that the Board Chair said “The decision comes down to people’s freedoms and their ability to make choices.”
