(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved $1.3-million in federal American Rescue Plan Act funds to “stabilize services and positions” for the County Fire Department through next year.

According to The Appeal-Democrat, Sutter County received just shy of $19-million in federal ARPA funds two years ago, and has “spent or committed $15.2-million to date and must spend the $3.6-million balance” by the end of the year, or lose it.
