(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Yuba City Police report the arrest of 2 unidentified people early last Friday morning: One, on charges of fentanyl possession, transporting drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. The other was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Officers were summoned at around 4:00 a.m. following a call reporting a ‘suspicious vehicle’ in the 800 block of Jones Road. After the passenger in that vehicle was found to have 5 warrants related to drug & theft charges, YCPD officers searched the vehicle. According to a Facebook post by YCPD, that investigation turned up 69.96 grams of fentanyl, along with 2.49 grams of methamphetamine. A digital scale and $851 in cash was also found.

Both the driver and passenger were arrested and taken to the Sutter County Jail.
