The teen accused of being involved in a drag race in Oroville last Thursday that resulted in 3 deaths is being held without bail. 19-year-old Carlos Hill is charged with 3 counts of manslaughter & reckless driving causing injury, with an enhancement of fleeing. The Butte County DA also says Hill was driving without a valid license.

The driver of the vehicle he was racing, Anthony Gaston, a 17-year-old boy and Gaston’s 2-year-old daughter were killed a a subsequent crash and Gaston’s 4-year-old daughter was seriously injured and is reportedly still hospitalized.

Hill is expected to enter a plea today.

  1. This doesnt seem right to me. Yes, street racing is illegal but he wasnt the one with 2 kids in the car. The father of those children was the one who decided to race in a jeep with 2 kids inside.
    It’s a GD tragedy but another life ruined is not the answer.
