OLIVEHURST MAN AWAITS VERDICT ON ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE

A domestic dispute with allegations of setting fire to a bed, with a woman in it, have now left the man charged waiting for jury deliberations to conclude, and a verdict.

43-year-old Djay Joel of Olivehurst is facing charges including attempted murder, dating back to an incident in the 5500 block of South Gledhill Avenue in Olivehurst in May of this year. The Appeal-Democrat reports that as of yesterday, a verdict had not been returned and Djay remains in custody as he is ineligible for bail
