Crews on site at The North Complex who were either going to be sent home or to other fires, are now being kept on scene in case our latest wind event flares up remaining hot spots. It’s reported unchanged from yesterday at 318,930 acres and is 94% contained.

On the west side of the valley, The August Complex remains 76% contained and has grown just under 500 acres in the last 24 hours, to 29,605 over the one-million mark.

To our north in Shasta County, Cal Fire declared The Zogg Fire “finalized” with full containment achieved Tuesday at 56,338 acres.

In Napa and Sonoma Counties, although The Glass fire is just short of being fully contained at 97% and 67,484 acres, Cal Fire reports in their incident update Tuesday, that this “is the final incident update for The Glass Fire.”
