(Yuba-Sutter) – 53-year-old Todd Tyler, the Browns Valley resident, Yuba City School Counselor and Marysville softball dad arrested for making criminal threats against and hate speech toward his daughter’s African-American coach, because Tyler was upset with the position she played in a scrimmage according to KCRA 3/Sacramento, has been placed on leave by the Yuba City School District.

Also, according to The Appeal-Democrat, Tyler has been named in a lawsuit against the district filed by the family of a 12-year-old Andros-Karperos middle school student who committed suicide 3 years ago, accusing Tyler and others of not following district policy, when they have knowledge of a student’s intent to kill themselves.
