MARYSVILLE MAN SENTENCED IN TRAFFIC DEATH OF YUBA CITY MOTORCYCLIST
In Yuba County Court, the Marysville man who pled no-contest to the hit & run death of 44-year-old Michael Sanchez of Yuba City on North Beale Road last June, has been sentenced to 15 to life.
35-year-old William Henson sped out of a motel parking lot at an estimated 80mph, and hit Sanchez, who was on his motorcycle at a red light. Henson then abandoned his vehicle about a quarter mile away, and then managed to get a ride from Gloria Ann Fighur, who helped him escape to Sacramento.
He was eventually captured there just over a month later. She’s pled no contest to being an accessory to murder and is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
