LIVE OAK CITY HALL CLOSED, 11 EMPLOYEES TO SELF-QUARANTINED AFTER COVID-19 POSITIVE

11 Live Oak city employees, including City Manager Aaron Palmer, are in self-quarantine for another week after possibly being exposed to COVID-19 last week. Shortly after reopening, Live Oak City Hall was closed again to the public last Wednesday, June 24th, after test results came back. Palmer tells The Appeal-Democrat they were planning to reopen yesterday after a deep cleaning, but upon consulting with Bi-County Health Department officials, decided to quarantine everyone who had come in contact with the employee in question, and remain closed until a week from today, July 7th.
