A judge has ruled there is enough evidence to go forward in the trial of 24-year-old Luis Soto, accused in the kidnapping & stabbing of his ex-girlfriend. The Appeal-Democrat reports Soto was arrested April 17th in an orchard behind Greenwich Circle in south Yuba City, one night after the victim had reportedly ended the relationship.
Soto is accused of taking her by force, then beating and stabbing her. The victim was taken to the hospital, being treated for major injuries while Soto remains in custody on $500,000 bail.
