The Yuba County Sheriff’s office reports a sizable illegal outdoor cannabis grow was eradicated following the execution of a search warrant in the 4000 block of Laura Way in Olivehurst. A spokesperson tells The Appeal-Democrat 1,670 plants were pulled. No mention of any arrests or citations.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson also tells the paper they are investigating a report of shots fired Sunday evening “around 8:00” in the 3000 block of Plumas-Arboga Road. An unoccupied vehicle was hit and no suspects have been identified “as of late Monday.”
