Heat Advisory Today as Yuba County Offers Options to Cool Down

(Yuba County release) – We’re fortunate that overnight lows will dips into the 60s, but it’s still important to take some precautions during the afternoon hours.

Also, there are plenty of other local options for cooling down. You can visit the Yuba County Library in Marysville for some good reading and air conditioning, or you can always slip over to the Yuba-Sutter Marketplace Shopping Mall in Yuba City to find cool spot.

And there are always the three water parks in Yuba County. OPUD operates a couple of water parks daily 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. — one at Eufay Wood Sr. Memorial Park off of Zanes Drive in Plumas Lake, and another at Lindhurst Memorial Park off of McGowan Parkway. Yuba County’s POW/MIA Park’s water features will be running Friday through the weekend, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
