(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Habitat for Humanity Yuba-Sutter has been awarded a $7.4-million-dollar grant from the state’s $825-million-dollar affordable housing fund, recently launched, that included a new funding approval process that eliminates the previous requirement that developers submit multiple grant applications.

The local habitat grant is earmarked specifically for an Olivehurst project to build a 124-unit, affordable multi-family housing development at 2nd Avenue & Chestnut Road.

Infrastructure work is scheduled to begin this summer.
