(Gridley, CA) – A month long investigation by the Butte County D.A.’s office resulted in the arrest of Gridley Police officer 29-year-old Devin Pasley, at the department, Tuesday.

Pasley is charged with felony counts of domestic violence & animal cruelty for allegedly “abusing his significant other and the mother of his child, pinning her down in their home and choking their dog during their year-long relationship” according to the Butte County D.A., who tells The Chico Enterprise-Record Pasley was also served with a gun violence restraining order and all his personal firearms were seized.

His first court appearance is scheduled for today.
