(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Out with the old – in with the new? While the City of Marysville is currently negotiating with the PECOS League to bring ‘The Marysville Drakes’ to Yuba-Sutter, the Gold Sox are closing up shop, with a ‘Going Out of Business Sale’ today and tomorrow.

According to a release from the organization, everything is being sold,  “from jerseys and merchandise to picnic benches to field supplies.” As well the release states, you can also come by “just come say hi and talk Gold Sox baseball one last time!”

The last official announcement regarding any potential future for the Gold Sox, was that the organization will skip the 2023 baseball season to “regroup.”

The sale takes place today and tomorrow, from 9:00 until 4:00, at the Gold Sox office at 1525 C Street in Marysville.
