FATAL ACCIDENT AT HWY 70 & FEATHER RIVER BOULEVARD DUE TO WRONG-WAY, IMPAIRED DRIVER

Follow up on the fatal Highway 70 accident at Feather River Boulevard KUBA reported on throughout last Friday morning’s commute from CHP: It involved an alleged drugged, wrong-way driver. 38-year-old Edgar Ernst of Rio Linda was reportedly driving north in the southbound lanes when he collided head-on with 64-year-old Brian Allen of Marysville, who was killed.

Drugs are a suspected factor and Ernst was arrested. He sustained only minor injuries.
