(Lake Oroville, CA) – The rain we received last week had no impact on Lake Oroville water levels. In fact, water levels have again dropped so far – 698 feet, 35% of capacity – that 3 of the 5 boat ramps are again closed, with only Bidwell & Loafer Point open for launch.

Boat ramps at the After & Forebay are open however.

DWR notes that from 1984 until 2012, Lake Oroville’s average annual low water level was 743 feet. In the last 10 years, it is down to 694. Construction on the Loafer Point ramp is underway so it can be used as low as 640 feet.
