CAL FIRE says the Dixie Fire burning near the border of Butte and Plumas counties is seven-percent contained.

The blaze broke out Tuesday off of Highway 70, and has ballooned in size now to nearly five-thousand acres.  Authorities say most of the fire is burning in steep and inaccessible terrain.  No structures are currently threatened, and none have been damaged or destroyed.

Evacuation warnings remain for the communities of Pulga, North East Concow, Fillbrook and Rock Creek to Tobin.  High Lake residents are being ordered to evacuate.  Camp Creek Road remains closed.
