(Wheatland, CA) – The Wheatland Police Department has entered into a partnership with the Fieldhaven Feline Center for a community cats program. It will provide free spaying & neutering, vaccinations and micro-chipping for up to 50 cats, funded through a California for all Animals grant.

It’s part of Fieldhaven’s Trap-Alter-Manage-Invest feral cat management strategy designed to “reduce overall euthanasia of unwanted cats” and control cat over-population and suffering.
