(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Road work and delays are expected – starting today – along Highway 20 in the Browns Valley area.

Caltrans reports paving work will be underway, with one way traffic controls from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. “at various locations between Marysville Road and the Parks Bar Bridge at the Yuba River” according to a Caltrans release. Flaggers will be stationed in the construction zones and a pilot vehicle will guide traffic. Delays of between 15 and 20 minutes should be expected.

The road work is part of a $61.5-million-dollar project, and also includes a news bridge and will “rehabilitate a 4.7-mile section of roadway in the Browns Valley area, according to Calttrans.

Construction will continue into early fall.
