(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Cal Fire / Butte Unit crews responded yesterday to a vegetation fire along Lower Honcot Road south of Oroville. It was reported burning at a slow rate of spread however and at no point were any structures threatened. The fire was fully contained last evening at 8 acres.

Meanwhile in El Dorado and Placer Counties, no change reported in the Mosquito Fire; 85% contained at 76,775 acres.
