Another COVID-19 related death reported yesterday by the Yuba/Sutter Bi-County Health Department, increasing the local total to 10 people. That’s the third death in as many days. There were also 56 new cases reported, bringing the total to 1,172 – 602 active – with 17 currently hospitalized.

In Colusa County a third resident of the Valley West Care Center in Williams has died from COVID-19 complications. At last report, 16 residents and 14 staff at the facility were confirmed positive. Their health officer also reported another 12 positives, making a total of 304 cases – 88 active – 4 hospitalized and another 167 quarantined “due to possible exposure.”

Butte County reported 17 more cases yesterday for a total of 883 – 167 active – 5 hospitalized and the death toll there is unchanged at 7.

Glenn County is at 311 cases, with 8 more confirmed yesterday, 45 active, 4 in the hospital and the death toll unchanged at one.
