(Sutter County, CA) – The Sutter County Clerk-Recorder said yesterday an estimated 1,000 of the 51,000 mail-in ballots sent out last Saturday are printed without the correct return address, but assures voters the materials inside are all correct. “Due to an error by the certified elections printer Sutter County uses, a small number of Sutter County ballots were mailed out with Plumas County return address information.”
The official statement concludes, “the ballot, voter pamphlet & ballot return envelope inside the outgoing Plumas County envelopes are correct.”
A postcard informing those who have received the materials with the Plumas county return address is being mailed to impacted voters, who if they prefer, can have replacement materials sent.
