Adventist / Rideout President Rick Rawson is announcing his retirement, effective Halloween of this year, after a 38 year health career. He took over in Marysville 3 years ago, during the Adventist / Rideout merger.

In a press release Rawson reports “I’ve been so impressed with this community’s commitment to making a difference and caring for others.”

Rawson came to Marysville from Adventist Health Feather River in Paradise, after re-establishing services in Butte County following the Camp Fire. Then during the course of the last year, has led the Adventist / Rideout team through the COVID-19 crisis and subsequent vaccination efforts.

  1. Good maybe they can get someone in that place that knows how to run it. It’s horrible that the built on to the hospital and now when there super busy they holler we don’t have enough rooms. You go in by ambulance and go right thru the Er to the waiting room and you’re dumped there to wait 9-10 hours. It’s ridiculous. Hire more dr’s and nurses and help those who are sick, suffering in pain or who needs to be in the hospital not the damn waiting room!!
