Juan Rodriguez-Gil who was arrested for suspected murder and
assault, pleads not guilty.

Rodriguez-Gil was arrested in November in connection to
a July Palermo murder and injury after trying to reenter California from
Mexico. Prosecutors say several shots were fired during a marijuana
sale.

One person was wounded and taken to the hospital where he later died. A second person was grazed by a bullet and released from the hospital.
Gil’s preliminary hearing is set for April 6th.
