Yuba/Sutter’s Bi-County Health department yesterday reported 22 additional COVID-19 positives, bringing the local total to 247. Seven patients are currently hospitalized and recoveries are up by 7, to 155. the death toll remains at 4.
Meanwhile, Glenn County yesterday was added yesterday to the state’s so-called ‘watch list’ with 14 new cases, increasing their total to 103 – up 40 in a single week. One of the 6 factors putting Glenn County on that list, is a positive test rate over 8 percent, over 7 days. Glenn County’s rate is 14.9 percent, with only Imperial County higher at just over 22 percent. They have now been assigned a State Monitoring Official.
Butte County is now up to 168 cases with 25 more reported yesterday. Two patients remain hospitalized, 95 recoveries reported and 2 deaths.
Colusa County rose to 35 cases overall yesterday, with an additional 12 cases, no deahts and recovery data unavailable.
