2 ARRESTED IN DRAGGING DEATH OF YUBA CITY MAN ON HOWLETT AVENUE

Two Yuba City murder suspects – accused in the dragging death of a man attempting to stop a car theft – have been arrested. Sutter County Undersheriff Scott Smallwood reports 18-year-old Ed McKnight was caught in Yuba City, and 19-year-old Dan McKnight was caught in Yuba County and are being held on $1-million-dollars bail.

The 2 men are charged in the killing of 19-year-old Victor Camacho. After allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to his father, Camacho, while attempting to stop the theft, was dragged along Howlett Avenue last Thursday night, resulting in his fatal injuries.
