SUTTER COUNTY FOLLOWS YUBA COUNTY’S LEAD WITH ANTI-CAMPING ORDINANCE

At their meeting last night, the Sutter County Board of Supervisors voted to follow Yuba County’s lead of a week ago, passing an anti-camping ordinance. No longer allowed: ‘Camping and storage of personal property on private property…particularly along the levees and river. Those in violation will be given 72 hours to clean-up and vacate. In Yuba County, a similar ordinance gives violators just 48 hours.
