Grasshoppers were a problem recently in Sutter, and also in 1889! According to the Marysville Daily Appeal, Grasshoppers of unusual size were seen along the A street railroad grade. There were quite a number of them. This was in the Appeal on August 16th, 1889. Every weekday, we take a look at local 1890s history at around 6:20am on 1600, KUBA!
